Baker & Baker, Ltd. was founded by Rod and Denise Baker in 1999 following Mr. Baker’s retirement after 25 years service as an Agent with the United States Courts and the United States Department of Justice. Prior to his service with the U.S. Government, Mr. Baker served as a Criminal Investigator with the Office of the District Attorney for Ottawa and Delaware counties in Oklahoma.

Mr. Baker holds a Masters Degree in Criminology from Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, OK.  He is also nationally recognized as a Certified Fraud Examiner by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and as a Certified Legal Investigator by the National Association of Legal Investigators.  Mr. Baker is a licensed private investigator in the states of Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas and Arkansas

During his service with state and federal governments, Mr. Baker gained extensive experience in conducting all types of investigations and has assisted attorneys in trial preparations on many occasions. In addition, Mr. Baker was qualified as an expert in Federal Sentencing Practices by the Administrative Office of the United States Courts, Washington D.C. in 1986 and has prepared Presentence Investigations and consulted on hundreds of federal criminal sentencing issues since 1987.

Denise Baker is also a former Agent with the United States Courts and United States Department of Justice. Prior to federal service, Ms. Baker was employed as a Child Abuse Investigator for the Department of Human Services of the state of Oklahoma. Ms. Baker holds a Masters of Social Work degree from the University of Oklahoma and is also a licensed Social Worker who has conducted international and domestic adoptive home studies.
